Icq 5 has now been released and has a cool walky talky mode built in.
this allows you to page someone and use your space bar to chat to them one on one.
I’d like to see folks grab this sucker and take it for a spin.
please comment on the new icq 5 tell us all wether it’s speech friendly or not and how it goes on your individual machine.

Ok today was a joke.
I’m absolutely fedup with wancas who can still breathe eat cough fart sneeze and still ring up and annoy all the helpdesk staff.
There just plain rude ignorant and have no respect for any other human life.
Fuck i’ve had it i’m taking things in to my own hands and have decided to use my own tactics.
Anyone who doesn’t obey my orders will be taken out the back shot 3 times in the ass and then told to fuck off loudly while i scream and shout myself horse.
When the fuck are these useless cretons going to learn enough is a fucking nough?
My answer to you all is never. there will always be stupid ignorant fuckers who don’t give a flying fuck about us and i’m slowly going insain.
I’m off to grab a cold beer and sit out the back and drink 1 beer and hopefully get some sleep.
Also anyone who asks me a tech support question after 9 pm will be quietly done away with and thrown off the top of the leaning tower of pizza or whatever that fucking tower is called and then i’ll organize some elephants to trample them to death.
this threat only applies to idiots in certain capital cities exluding the united states melbourne brisbane and perth.

Ok this time i’ve decided to be a little more diplamatic when it comes to asking web venders for what we want.
I’ve written about this cool rock station in the past

basically to sign up with them, you need to enter a security code which is embeded in an immage on there site.
I’ve written to them and have asked they allow blind people to sign up.
Here’s my letter to them and I urge all blind people to use the web site feedback link and also complain long loud and shout at the top of there lungs.
i’m sick of web developers who choose to exclude blind people from accessing sites simply because there ignorant.
They contstantly use the excuse sorry we didn’t know.
Bull shit you didn’t know.
Why can’t the miserable bastards open there eyes and put themselves in our position?
I’ll tell you why because there useless and half the time the idiots never reply.
I’ve never felt so outraged and discriminated against in all my life.
I’m going to sock it to them and if they don’t take notice i’m going to urge all my readers to abuse swear cry shout yell and scream very very loud and maybe then the nuckle heads will situp and take notice.
Ok enough of my rambling.
Here’s my calm collected letter I pain stakingly handcrafted myself.
Hi there.
I’m writing as a blind person who uses a screen reader to read the text on screen and use speech output.
My complaint is to signup for access to your site, seen’s our screen reading software can’t read the image when signing up to enter the security code.
Isn’t there another way you can allow blind people who use screen reading software to signup without having to enter a security code?
Your shutting out heaps of people who use internet radio on a daily basis and having to get sighted assistance to signup is a challenge and sometimes not possible.
Could you see if a work around could be sort to allow blind folks to sign up and enjoy your site as well?
We’re being shut out of a great service and we feel we should be able to access your site like our sighted counterparts.

Ok no news to report today.
Went over to a friend’s fixed his pc and everything is now working fine.
Also went on the tredmill twice and tomorrow is the big beer and ribs night.
Looking forward to it immensly.

Ok things won’t be the same again as we know it.
Calls will be longer and people will be stronger I hope.
Things have changed for the better I feel. I finally have access to all customer functions like password changes and other such important detail.
It will be great and i’m looking forward to the challenge I think.
Enough helpdesk shit.
This weekend i’m going to a friend’s home to fix his isdn connection and do some other work on his pc.
Also on sunday we’re having another westcoast cooler and ribs night.
Will write more about it sunday.

Ok today was a slow day.
we had a great day with calls and I helped where I could
for dinner we had some pasta and for desert I had a piece of cheese cake.
tomorrow i’m going for a haircut but we really don’t give a fuck about that.
haircuts are boring and nothing to report there.
come on next friday it’s my birthday feb 11.
