Ok all.
I’ve decided now to invest in a new harddrive and am going to be purchasing it tomorrow.
My fine Brother Adam who’s a man of his word and 2 in the bush has decided to assist in this process. Basically we’re gonna use norton ghost 9.0 to clone the original drive to the new hdd and then just swap them out and we’ll be back up with all settinsg intact.
Also Uncle Stan has decided he wants to not be left out so he’s also buying a new hdd and he’ll be participating as well.

Hopefully we won’t run in to any issues but all critical data has been backed up and everything should be sweet.

Please make everything go as planned.

Will let you all know how this process goes.

Ok today i’m absolutely discusted with the lack of support we’re all recieving from talks and scansoft.
I’m about to install Mobile speak from
Mobile Speak Website

and we’ll try the new web browsing support.
Also they update there product at least once a month and seem comitted to there customer’s unlike scansoft who don’t give a flying fuck anymore.
I used to really like talks but now with the new custom verbosity mode, i’m going to try the product and spend the
$295.00
australian on this product.

cheaper then talks and I think it will be an absolute winner.

Also i’m looking at buying either a new smart phone or an ipaq running windows mobile and will check out the new mobile speak pocket screen reader.

I’ll report how I go here with mobile speak once I get it installed.

Thanks and the fish and chips will arrive momentarily and I can’t wait to enjoy a nice piece of fish and a battered sav which is similar to a corndog for my usa readers.

Ok thought this new Gizmo Project phone client was going to be great.

Unfortunately it’s not up to my usual standards so I can’t recommend it on the below issues.
It’s very slow to start up, it’s not accessable for screen readers in general and so I give it a big fat 0 out of 10.
Keeping in mind it’s in beta there’s still plenty of work that needs to be done on this hunk of shit.
Actually i’ll give it a minus 10 even better.

Don’t install this shit, it’s not worth it.

If a company is going to bring out a product, for fuck sake test the mother fucker first then release it.
don’t bring out some clunky application start charging for incoming and outgoing calls and then telling everyone that it’s better then skype?
It’s far worse then skype and it will never be better then skype.

A very dismal piece of shitty software.
I am not even willing to give the web address for this hunk of shit cause that’s slow and takes 193 years to load.
