Hello again all and yes it’s been a very very long time since I last wrote in my antique journal.
Soon it will be worth more then me.

I just purchased a new bluetooth headset from Plantronics called the discovery 640.

It has some rather cool options.

Firstly you can either charge it from a standard ac power adapter supplied or even better yet you can charge it from a tripple a battery and not a rechargable one.
That’s awesome if your out and don’t have access to a power adapter.

So far in the time i’ve used the headset the calls are crisp clear and very impressive audio.
The headset is only the size of a bullet and fits in your ear.
You get 3 gell tips small medium and large. I think for the beginner this headset may be a little fiddly due to the extra adapters components you get with it.

My good friend adam bought himself the plantronics voyager 510 headset. It’s a single piece design and fits over your ear and the boom microphone can swival up and down and the actual guts of the headset sit behind your ear.
It’s cool but i much prefer the rubber gell tips on my particular model.
It’s personal preference.

I’ll write more on the headset once i’ve played with it for a few more days.
There are only 2 controls a volume up and down button and an on off button on the headset.

Very cool and i’m again very impressed.

I’ll do a phone post after the headset charges so you can hear what the quality is like.
